Serving our Endangered Neighbors In an Orderly Rotation
The Attica Police Department is introducing a Senior Program. This program will focus on residents that live inside the village limits that have special needs, for example, persons that require the use of an oxygen machine. In this example, if there is a power outage, the Police department would have a list of residents that require the use of an oxygen machine and would make regular checks on those people to ensure that the machines are still running on either a generator or battery life. In case of inclement weather, the Police Department would also make regular checks on residents that are unable leave their residence or get to a store to obtain food, water or medicine. If you are interested in signing up for this program or know of someone that would benefit from this program you can stop by the police department or download the Seniors Program Form at atticaohio.us. In order for the Police Department to accurately compile this list, a form MUST be submitted. Please include all necessary medical information and update the form as things change. We are excited to bring this program to the residents of the Village of Attica as we feel it is vital and beneficial to preserving our community.
